Corridor Navy Brown Window Pane Work Shirt
The Navy Brown Windowpane is immediately a classic shirt with the perfect pallete of uneven indigo, warm brown and dove grey. The plaid is made of dobby weave, giving the fabric an uneven, extremely soft (but not brushed) texture.
Our workshirt silhouette features a camp collar with a true chain-stitched crochet loop, a flat hem and a relaxed fit. The interior yoke is lined for easy and comfortable layering, and the collar lays flat as a single piece of fabric. The shirt is finished with two pattern-matched flap chest pockets in natural, clean curves.
Wear: The Workshirt can be work by itself, over a t-shirt, or over another long sleeved shirt.
Fit: Relaxed (for a slimmer fit, size down). Pre-shrunk.
Fabric Milling: While based on a heritage plaid, this fabric was designed and milled exclusively for Corridor by the Original Madras Trading Company, a 100 year old textile and shirt maker
Tailoring: The shirt was sewn responsibly by the good people and tailors at the Original Madras Trading Company in Madras (Chennai), India.
Responsibility: What does responsibility mean? People talk a lot about transparency and sustainability. I think the sum is responsibility. For Corridor, this means that we actually work in the factory with the tailors every season to create the garments and ensure the workshops are environmentally certified and (ISO-9001) and socially accountable (SA 8000). You can feel good knowing where and how the garment was made.
